Dal 17 al 26 Novembre 2016 la H.R.Y.O. ha partecipato al progetto “ Towards a Nonviolente World” finanziato dal programma Erasmus+
I conflitti sono parte della vita di tutti i giorni e in realtà potrebbero rappresentare un’opportunità per comprendere i propri limiti e le nostre potenzialità, una opportunità che conduce alla crescita. D’altra parte, se non debitamente riconosciuta e presa in considerazione, la violenza può degenerare, drenare le nostre energie, portando a scontri, e anche a radicalizzazione.
Più di 20 giovani provenienti da 11 Paesi europei hanno avuto modo di confrontarsi su tutti i temi legati alla Nonviolenza; Dai macro ai micro conflitti i partecipanti al corso hanno avuto modo di scambiare e conoscere nuove tipologie di intervento per la risoluzione dei conflitti, conoscere storie dirette di attivisti e pacifisti a livello globale.
Durante il progetto, giorno dopo giorno, è fortemente cresciuta la consapevolezza fra i protagonisti dell’evento che ancora oggi ha un forte senso e valore continuare a discutere i temi della Pace in quanto, seppur in un periodo storico in cui ci appaiono lontane le lotte nonviolente che hanno portato alla risoluzione di molti conflitti, tali conflitti continuano ad esistere.
Il tema del conflitto è stato centrale in molte sessioni di attività e si è anche ragionato prevalentemente sui sistemi di risoluzione dei micro conflitti, partendo da noi stessi, come motore di pace del contesto in cui viviamo.
Come Human Rights Youth Organization abbiamo anche avuto modo di condividere i risultati del piccolo movimento nonviolento che abbiamo costruito in questi ultimi anni conosciuto a molti come “MMH” Il festival delle culture – Meet me Halfway” che ha portato enormi risultati in zone ad alto degrado urbano con una forte densità mafiosa.
Come associazione abbiamo quindi deciso di continuare il nostro percorso di crescita internazionale a contatto con le diverse reti dei movimenti nonviolente.
Uniti possiamo fare una enorme differenza e questo progetto ha segnato l’inizio di future collaborazioni.
