LA H.R.Y.O. Human Rights Youth Organization promuoverà all’interno del Nebrodi Festival una giornata in compagnia del Ven.Geshe Lobsang Tenkyong, maestro di grande spessore della tradizione buddhista tibetana. Tale evento si snoderà in due momenti, il primo dedicato ad un’introduzione sulla meditazione buddhista ed il secondo alle tecniche di risoluzione dei conflitti interiori ed esteriori basati sulla pratica del dharma.
L’incontro si svolgerà in due sessioni:
Mattino: 11:00 – 13:00
Pomeriggio: 16:00 – 19:00
Tale evento si inserisce all’interno delle iniziative promosse dalla H.R.Y.O. in omaggio agli 80 anni di Sua Santità il Dalai Lama, guida spirituale di spessore mondiale, nonché premio Nobel per la pace.
Un ringraziamento particolare va, inoltre, all’FPMT Italia per la collaborazione ed il supporto all’organizzazione dell’iniziativa. La FPMT (Fondazione per la Preservazione della Tradizione Mahayana) è un’organizzazione internazionale no-profit , fondata nel 1975 da Lama Thubten Yeshe, che si dedica alla trasmissione in tutto il mondo della tradizione buddhista mahayana.
Geshe Lobsang Tenkyong: E’ fuggito in India nel maggio 1982, dal momento dell’arrivo fino al 2001 ha studiato nel monastero di Sera, in quell’anno ha ottenuto il grado di Geshe Lharampa, il più alto titolo di studi conseguibile all’interno della tradizione gelug-pa . Successivamente va studiare al collegio tantrico del Gyume, luogo in cui riceve l’educazione Tantrica. Dal dicembre 2005 risiede in Italia.
